In addition to a strong focus on internationalizing the Staufen AG business, digitization projects continue to increasingly contribute to the annual revenue, currently at approximately 52 million Euros. Staufen’s activities in this area remain consistent; as of January 1, 2017, with the founding of Digital Neonex, Staufen has its own specialist when it comes to the fields of digital transformation, data science and smart factories. “Digital Neonex is not a laboratory for digital experiments; it works hands on with experienced implementation consultants,” according to Staufen CEO, Martin Haas. Thomas Rohrbach is the General Manager of Digital Neonex. He has been developing Staufen AG’s international business and new business models for more than ten years. Growth in the core business and investments in prospective business areas have increased the number of employees to more than 250 within a year – a climb of almost 15 percent.
