Sustainably exploiting optimization potential
Invest in the future of your lean competence today
Effective, competent and appreciative at eye level – that’s what our training series stands for. In the same way, our graduates pass on their know-how internally and support your improvement process with workshops and projects. Because with improvement experts in your own company, you create the best conditions for sustainably exploiting your optimization potential.
We offer a three-phase training program for the lean experts and lean trainers of tomorrow.
3-stage training and certification for lean experts and lean trainers
BASIC TRAINING
The focus is on teaching the central principles of Lean In addition, participants actively work on improving their communication and moderation competences and the ability to plan and conduct workshops successfully.
Participants learn and deepen their knowledge of the most important Lean methods and tools applicable to themselves and their specific area of work. Because of the strong practical focus, not only the acquisition of theoretical knowledge is ensured, but also the ability of its application. (Lean basics needed!)
The written exams take place immediately following the respective courses of steps 2 and 3.
Production and production-related areas:
- Lean Manufacturing
- Lean Assembly (small-scale)
- Lean Assembly (large-scale)
- Lean Logistics
Indirect areas:
- Lean & Agile Product Development
- Lean Administration
Cross-divisional:
- Lean Order Fulfillment
PRACTICAL IMPLEMENTATION WITHIN OWN COMPANY
At the latest after completion of Step 2, Lean Experts should implement what they learned and practised within inhouse workshops and projects. This practical application is fundamental for the transformation of your company, but not an official part of the training Program. If required, experienced Staufen experts are happy to support you during the design and conduct of workshops, particularly in the role of coach and “co-trainer” for your experts.
ADVANCED TRAINING TO BECOME A LEAN TRAINER
Focus is on increasing participants’ teaching and organisational competencies. “How do I teach others to do something” rather than “How do I use it myself” is the motto of this final training phase aimed at future Lean trainers (train-the-trainer concept).
The written exams take place immediately following the respective courses of steps 2 and 3.
Web Based Training
Lean Management Basics
As part of our blended learning approach, the web-based training (WBT) “Lean Management Basics” is an integral part of the 3-stage training. Even before training level 2, the WBT serves as a refresher and needs-specific preparation. Practical exercises and knowledge checks help you to consolidate learning content.
Our WBT consists of an intro video, 5 modules and a final test. It is aimed at specialists and managers who want to acquire basic knowledge of lean management independently or refresh it.
Qualified by Darmstadt Technical University
The Institute for Production Management, Technology and Machine Tools (PTW) of Darmstadt Technical University qualified our programme for you. After the successful completion of levels I and II you will be awarded the Lean Expert Certificate and after the successful completion of levels I, II and III you will be awarded the Lean Trainer Certificate.
Out now: Alumni-Day!
A format by lean experts and trainers for lean experts
Make new contacts, maintain your existing network, exchange knowledge and learn from each other. This can be a significant catalyst in your lean journey.
We create a platform for you to network with other lean experts as well as strengthen contacts you made in your Lean Expert Basic Training.
Use the opportunity to discuss your own questions and specific content in a small group and compare where you personally stand in your role as a lean expert and your organization and how your lean expert colleagues and market competitors are positioned.
In particular, the focus is on collegial exchange to obtain starting points and solutions from others and to learn vital knowledge for your own lean journey.
Likewise, you are invited to share your experiences, both in terms of challenges and opportunities, as well as acquired knowledge to benefit others. As a result, each Alumni Day is unique and should be included in your annual planning to expand your network.
Note: This event is exclusively for former STAUFEN participants. Lean Expert Basic Training
