Once again, Staufen AG is among Germany’s best management consultancies – Lean management experts are increasingly bringing their operational strength to bear on sustainability projects – Hidden Champions 2022

As in previous years, Staufen AG has been awarded the title of Best Lean Management Consultancy in the eighth installment of the prestigious “Hidden Champions” industry study. It also ranks among the top-ranking leaders in the areas of production, R&D, technology management, operational efficiency, Shop Floor Management, global footprint, and Industry 4.0. For the study, the Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Management und Beratung (Scientific Society for Management and Consulting), headed by Prof. Dietmar Fink, surveyed more than 1,000 executives from major German companies.

“This award is really special for us”, says Wilhelm Goschy, CEO of Staufen AG. “Because ultimately, you can’t apply for the Hidden Champions. You have to depend on a positive customer rating even for nomination.” The results are impressive: In addition to once again defending its title in the Lean Management segment, Staufen AG is also among the top five addresses in Germany in the specialty area of Engineering & Production (including R&D, operational efficiency, store floor management, global footprint and Industry 4.0).

The oldest seal of quality for consultants in Germany, the “Hidden Champions of the Consulting Market 2022/23”, was issued for the eighth time by Prof. Fink’s team. More than 1,000 executives from major German companies reporting annual sales of at least EUR 500 million – including almost 100 top managers from DAX40 companies – were surveyed from June to October 2021. Only the consulting firms with expertise in at least one consulting area or industry rated higher than that of the three major consulting market leaders are ultimately recognized as hidden champions.

Focusing on Sustainability – Thinking Lean & Green Together Consistently

With its exceptional position in the German consulting market, confirmed once again, Staufen AG is also excellently positioned for the megatopic 2022. “Sustainability requires lean management.
